Leela BiantLeela Biant lives in Edinburgh with her husband and daughter, she enjoys surfing, scuba diving, swimming and travel; as well as playing the tenor saxophone.
Ms. Biant trained in London, and completed specialist fellowships in hip and knee surgery in Sydney and London. Her Master of Surgery degree was entitled “Articular Cartilage Repair in the Young Adult Knee” and she has undertaken research into the use of adult stem cells to repair damaged cartilage and evaluated current best techniques of cartilage repair. Miss Biant is the lead clinician for the Enhanced Recovery after Arthroplasty programme in Edinburgh. |
